HP printer is not printing in black ink

The printer is working and doing its job great but the printed output is missing black color. To know that thing is causing this error to your printer and making it unable to print in black color. Use original HP cartridges:

  • Always make sure, you use the genuine product for the better quality of the print. By this way, you can also make your printer live long. For the originality of the product, you can buy it directly from the manufacturer's site.

Check the estimated ink level:

  • Upload white paper in the paper tray.
  • Touch the button next to the setting icon in the lower left corner of the control panel.
  • Press the right arrow button to navigate to the Tool option and then touch OK button.
  • Press the right arrow button again to navigate to the estimated ink level and then press the OK button.
  • If every ink toner is full or has enough ink you don’t need to replace them yet.
  • If any of them is low on ink continue to follow the next process.

Replace the low or empty cartridge:

  • Place the place on the tray and press the power button to turn on the printer machine.
  • Open the cartridge door and lightly press down on the cartridge to release it.
  • Remove the cartridge carefully.
  • Take out the new cartridge from the box, remove the plastic tape.
  • Then insert into its color-coded slot.
  • Slightly push the cartridge until a snap sound.
  • Repeat the same process to replace other ink cartridges.

Set alignment for the printer:

  • Using the right arrow key navigate to the tools and then press OK.
  • Again press an arrow key to select Align printer and then press OK.
  • Hold the printer lid place the alignment page on with the printed side down on the right front corner of the scanner glass.
  • Close the lid and press OK.
  • Wait until the alignment sheet completes the process.
